Kissing
=======

Kissing reptiles is not recommended, especially not turtles. There is a small
chance of you getting some parasites or salmonella from the turtle. Refer to
my and other people's web sites for more information on Salmonella.

Cream
=====

Don't put Vaseline on a turtle's skin. They don't need it, and it can encourage the
growth of skin fungus. If your turtle's skin is flaking, it is probably shedding.
If the skin is unnaturally dry, the problem is usually dietary.

Also, don't use shell creams. The shell is living bone that needs to breathe.
Shell creams (and painting the shell) prevent the shell from breathing.
